At A.S.A.S.V.M. School, discipline is the foundation of learning. Every student is expected to follow the school’s rules and regulations to maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for all.
1. General Conduct
Students must show respect and obedience to teachers, staff, and elders at all times.
Politeness, honesty, and good manners should be practiced both inside and outside the school.
Students must take pride in keeping their classrooms and school premises clean.
Any form of bullying, use of foul language, or misbehavior will not be tolerated.
2. Attendance & Punctuality
Students must be regular and punctual to school.
Attendance on the first and last working day of each term is compulsory.
Leave of absence must be applied for in advance and duly signed by parents/guardians.
Students missing school for more than 10 consecutive days without permission may have their names removed from the rolls.
3. School Uniform
Students must wear the prescribed school uniform neatly and with pride every day.
Shoes should be polished and hair properly groomed.
Wearing ornaments, fancy hairstyles, or nail polish is strictly prohibited.
On designated days, students may wear the house uniform for sports or activities.
4. Discipline & Behavior
Running, shouting, or playing in the corridors is strictly prohibited.
Students must maintain silence in classrooms, library, and during assemblies.
Respect for school property is mandatory — any damage must be compensated by the student.
No student shall leave the class or school premises without prior permission.
5. Use of Mobile Phones & Gadgets
Mobile phones, cameras, or electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited in school.
If found, the item will be confiscated and disciplinary action will be taken.
6. Academics
Students must complete homework and classwork regularly.
Any form of cheating in tests or exams will result in disciplinary action.
Students must bring all required books and stationery as per the timetable.
7. Cleanliness & Hygiene
Students should maintain personal hygiene and come to school in clean uniforms.
Littering the campus is strictly forbidden; use dustbins provided in classrooms and corridors.
Students are encouraged to keep their surroundings neat and green.

8. Library Rules
Maintain silence in the library at all times.
Books must be handled carefully and returned within the due date.
Any loss or damage to a library book must be reported and compensated immediately.

9. Co-Curricular & Sports
Participation in school functions, sports, and cultural activities is encouraged.
Students must represent the school with dignity and sportsmanship during competitions.
Absence from such events without valid reason is discouraged.

10. Transport Rules
Students using school transport must follow bus safety rules and behave properly with staff and fellow students.
Do not put hands or heads out of the windows.
Misbehavior in the bus may lead to withdrawal of transport facility.

11. Visitors & Permissions
Parents/guardians are not allowed to meet teachers during class hours.
Any visitor must report to the school office before entering the premises.
Written permission is required for students leaving early.

12. Prohibited Activities
Bringing valuables, money, or electronic devices to school is strictly prohibited.
Using unfair means, disobedience, or damage to property will lead to disciplinary action.
Students are expected to uphold the reputation of the school in behavior, language, and appearance.
